Welcome To Regalo, The Fashion Lab!

Regalo’s newest recruit is The Fashion Lab, a studio which hosts events, creative workshops, and classes, highlighting sustainability in the fashion, contemporary needlework, and textiles-based industries.
Melanie Kyles founded The Fashion Lab in 2016, transforming an old lecture room into what is now a creative space set up for tuition and collaborations for a diverse cultural community (created by the wonderful Orbis and Commercial Union House!) that includes artists, designers, writers, small businesses, charities, galleries, and so much more.
Monetary vouchers are available for The Fashion Lab through Regalo, which can pay for events and tuition covering all sorts of topics from professional techniques and creative development to more relaxed meet-ups with likeminded people, celebrating the mindful and social benefits of sewing and contemporary hand embroidery.
The studio itself has stunning city views of Grey’s Monument, is well-lit with natural lighting, and has a fresh, colourful aesthetic that balances clean graphics with rich textures, such as the six-foot pink marbled sewing bench and giant cork wall. All of the materials used by The Fashion Lab have been chosen specifically for their quality and low environmental impact.
